Etoposide + thiotepa is a combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of two small molecule cytotoxic agents, etoposide and thiotepa. Etoposide is a topoisomerase II inhibitor that induces DNA strand breaks, leading to apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. Thiotepa is an alkylating agent that crosslinks DNA strands, inhibiting DNA replication and transcription.
