Overview

Etsyl is a proprietary lipopeptide developed by 3D Bio-Tissues (3DBT), a UK-based biotech company and subsidiary of BSF Enterprise PLC. The active ingredient is a lipopeptide designed to stimulate cellular collagen production in human skin cells. Etsyl is being developed for dual applications in the cosmetics and pharmacological sectors. In cosmetics, it is intended as a bioactive ingredient for anti-aging and moisturizing formulations. In pharmacology, it has potential applications in wound healing and the development of skin substitutes. As of 2023, 3D Bio-Tissues has entered into a proof-of-concept agreement with a major cosmetic company to evaluate Etsyl for use in topical skin cream solutions.
