ETX-312 is a N-acetyl galactosamine (GalNAc)-conjugated short interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic developed by e-Therapeutics. It is designed to treat metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), also known as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). The drug operates via RNA interference, silencing a novel and differentiated target gene implicated in MASH pathogenesis. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that ETX-312 significantly improves liver function and reduces disease activity scores in industry-leading diet-induced obesity models of MASH, both as monotherapy and in combination with GLP-1 or THR-beta agonists. The candidate is currently undergoing IND-enabling studies, with an IND submission anticipated in 2025[1][2][4][5][6][8].
