ETX-394 is a preclinical RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutic candidate being developed by e-therapeutics for the treatment of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), also known as nonalcoholic steatohepatitis. It is part of the company’s GalOmic RNAi pipeline and is designed to silence a novel and differentiated hepatocyte-relevant target gene involved in MASH pathobiology, distinct from the target addressed by the related program ETX-312. ETX-394 emerged from e-therapeutics’ HepNet and GalOmic computational platforms, which use network analytics and predictive siRNA design to identify and optimize liver-directed RNAi therapeutics; as of the latest public updates, ETX-394 remains in preclinical proof-of-concept studies for MASH, with no human dosing yet initiated.[2][3][11]
