ETX-407 (also known as TGM-407) is a preclinical RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutic candidate being developed by Tangram Therapeutics (formerly e-therapeutics) for the treatment of dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD). ETX-407 is designed to target a novel, undisclosed gene identified through computational discovery that is implicated in the progression of dry AMD. By modulating the expression of this target in the liver, the therapy aims to address systemic factors contributing to retinal degeneration.
