Overview
Eucerin Eczema Relief Body Crème is an over-the-counter topical skin protectant formulated to relieve itching and irritation associated with eczema. Its primary active ingredient is colloidal oatmeal (1%), which acts as a skin protectant by soothing, moisturizing, and providing antioxidant benefits for dry, irritated, or eczema-prone skin. The formulation also includes ceramide 3 to help restore and strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier, licorice root extract (glycyrrhiza inflata) to calm redness, and various emollients such as castor seed oil and mineral oil for hydration. The product is fragrance-free, steroid-free, dye-free, clinically proven to reduce the incidence of eczema flare-ups with regular use, and suitable for infants as young as three months[1][2][3].
