Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Eureka CD19 ARTEMIS T-cell therapy is an investigational autologous T-cell therapy developed by Eureka Therapeutics using its proprietary ARTEMIS platform. While CD19 is a well-established target for B-cell malignancies, this specific program targets multiple solid tumors through a strategic partnership with Imugene. The therapeutic approach utilizes Imugene's onCARlytics (CF33-CD19) oncolytic virus to infect tumor cells and induce the surface expression of CD19, a process termed 'marking' the tumor. The CD19-targeted ARTEMIS T-cells then recognize and eliminate these newly CD19-positive solid tumor cells. The ARTEMIS platform is engineered to mimic the natural T-cell receptor (TCR) complex, potentially offering improved safety and efficacy profiles, including reduced cytokine release syndrome (CRS) risk, compared to conventional CAR-T therapies.
