Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EuTYPH-C is a next-generation typhoid conjugate vaccine developed by EuBiologics Co., LTD, in collaboration with PATH. It is designed to prevent typhoid fever by inducing both B cell and T cell immune responses. The vaccine utilizes EuBiologics' proprietary CRM197 carrier protein conjugated with Vi polysaccharide to enhance its immunogenicity and provide longer-lasting protection. Clinical trials have demonstrated its safety and immunogenicity, showing non-inferiority compared to the WHO prequalified comparator vaccine, Typbar TCV®. The vaccine has completed Phase 3 clinical trials in typhoid-endemic populations in sub-Saharan Africa and has received export approval from the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, with a WHO prequalification application currently under review.
