EV-100

EV-100 is a small molecule modulator of Sirtuin 2 (SIRT2) being developed by Evrys Bio as a host-targeted antiviral (HTA) therapy. SIRT2 is a member of the sirtuin family of NAD+-dependent deacetylases that plays a critical role in regulating host cell metabolism and protein function, which many viruses exploit for replication. By targeting a host protein rather than a viral protein, EV-100 aims to provide a broad-spectrum antiviral effect with a higher barrier to resistance. The program focuses on treating chronic infections like Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and Human Cytomegalovirus (HCMV), as well as other viral pathogens.
