EV102 (formerly DV-102) is a novel chemical conjugate consisting of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) celecoxib covalently linked to a cannabinoid, typically cannabidiol (CBD). Developed through a licensing agreement between Enveric Biosciences and Diverse Biotech, this asset is designed to treat chronic pain conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. By conjugating these two active moieties, the drug aims to leverage the synergistic anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties of both COX-2 inhibition and cannabinoid receptor modulation.
