EV201 is a preclinical therapeutic vaccine candidate developed by EV Therapeutics for the treatment of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The therapy utilizes modified tumor-derived extracellular vesicles (mTEV) as a delivery platform for tumor-derived neoantigens. By leveraging the natural biocompatibility and signaling properties of extracellular vesicles, EV201 is designed to present these neoantigens to the immune system, thereby inducing a targeted anti-tumor T-cell response. It is being evaluated both as a standalone monotherapy and in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors to enhance therapeutic efficacy in the immunosuppressive microenvironment of pancreatic cancer.
