Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EVD-003 is an experimental engineered cytokine being developed by Evozyne for the treatment of Crohn's disease. It is part of a platform of engineered proteins designed to decouple beneficial anti-inflammatory signaling from detrimental pro-inflammatory effects. By optimizing the cytokine's interaction with its receptors through protein engineering, the therapy aims to provide a more targeted approach to managing immune-mediated inflammatory disorders with an improved safety profile. As of early 2024, EVD-003 is in the discovery stage of development, with Evozyne planning its first IND submission for the broader program in 2026.
