Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EVEGYN A is a fixed-dose combination pharmaceutical drug designed for intravaginal administration, primarily indicated for the treatment of common vaginitis, including bacterial vaginosis and candidal vulvovaginitis. It combines the antifungal properties of fenticonazole nitrate, the antibacterial action of tinidazole, and the local anesthetic effect of lidocaine. This multi-component approach aims to eradicate both fungal and bacterial pathogens responsible for vaginitis while simultaneously providing symptomatic relief from associated discomfort. The drug has undergone Phase III clinical evaluation for its efficacy and safety.
