The **eVLP RSV vaccine** is an investigational mRNA-based vaccine candidate developed using EABR (ESCRT- and ALIX-binding region) technology to encode self-assembling enveloped virus-like particles (eVLPs) displaying RSV pre-fusion F (Pre-F) protein. It elicits superior neutralizing antibodies targeting Pre-F-specific sites compared to conventional Pre-F or ferritin nanoparticle mRNA vaccines, with enhanced Th1-biased cellular immunity and broader protection against RSV strains including clinical isolates ON1 (RSV-A) and BA9 (RSV-B). In preclinical mouse models, it demonstrated dramatically reduced pulmonary viral loads post-RSV challenge and stronger cross-neutralization than approved subunit vaccines like Pfizer's Abrysvo.[2][4]
