Overview

EVM16 is a novel personalized therapeutic mRNA cancer vaccine developed by Everest Medicines. It is designed to encode dozens of tumor neoantigens that are predicted based on the unique tumor mutations of each patient using Everest's proprietary AI-based neoantigen prediction algorithm, EVER-NEO-1. The vaccine uses a lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery system to efficiently deliver these neoantigen-expressing mRNAs into the body, aiming to activate neoantigen-specific tumor-killing T cells and inhibit tumor growth. Preclinical studies have shown that EVM16 stimulates strong T cell responses and significantly inhibits tumor growth in mouse models. The vaccine is being evaluated both as monotherapy and in combination with PD-1 antibody therapy (such as tislelizumab) for patients with advanced or recurrent solid tumors who have failed standard treatments[1][5][6][7].
