Overview

EVO200 is an investigational vaginal pH modulator being developed to prevent recurrent bacterial vaginosis. It aims to maintain an acidic vaginal environment that is unfavorable to pathogenic overgrowth associated with recurrent BV. In a Phase 1 dose-finding study, the highest-dose formulation reduced vaginal pH for up to seven days after a single administration. The program has received FDA Qualified Infectious Disease Product (QIDP) designation for prevention of recurrent BV. Developer: Evofem Biosciences.[9][5]
