EVO301

EVO301 is a long-acting, injectable fusion protein therapeutic designed to neutralize the signaling pathway of interleukin-18 (IL-18), a proinflammatory cytokine implicated in multiple inflammatory diseases. The drug consists of a recombinant anti-serum albumin Fab fused to an IL-18 binding protein (BP), which allows for extended half-life and potentially improved tissue penetration. By targeting and neutralizing IL-18, EVO301 aims to regulate inflammation associated with conditions such as atopic dermatitis. The use of native human IL-18 binding protein may reduce immunogenicity compared to traditional monoclonal antibodies. Originally developed as APB-R3 by AprilBio, the program was licensed globally by Evommune for further development and commercialization[1][2][4].
