Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Evolve Mouse is a patent-pending, highly palatable soft bait contraceptive designed specifically for mice. Its active ingredient is cottonseed oil (0.2%), which interferes with reproductive mechanisms in both male and female mice, effectively reducing or eliminating fertility and thus controlling mouse populations over time. The product is classified as a minimum-risk pesticide by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), posing little to no risk to human health or the environment when used as directed. It works by targeting reproduction rather than causing immediate lethality, making it suitable for integration into long-term integrated pest management (IPM) strategies alongside traditional rodenticides and traps. The effects on population are typically observed after one to two breeding cycles (four to six weeks), resulting in fewer pregnancies and reduced numbers of pups born[1][3][4][7].
