Evonail

Evonail is a topical hydrating nail solution developed by Evaux Laboratories, specifically designed to prevent and treat chemotherapy-induced onycholysis, a common side effect in cancer patients receiving taxane-based treatments like docetaxel. The solution is formulated with mineral-rich thermal spring water from Evaux-les-Bains, containing elements such as lithium, strontium, manganese, silica, and fluorine. It works by forming a protective, invisible matte film on the nail and periungual area, providing hydration and strengthening the nail plate to prevent separation from the nail bed. Clinical research conducted by Samsung Medical Center has demonstrated its efficacy in reducing the incidence of high-grade onycholysis when used prophylactically.
