Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Evora is a line of oral care probiotics designed to support dental and gum health. It utilizes the ProBiora3 probiotic blend, which consists of three naturally occurring strains of beneficial bacteria: *Streptococcus oralis* KJ3, *Streptococcus rattus* JH145, and *Streptococcus uberis* KJ2. These strains work by colonizing the mouth and crowding out pathogenic bacteria that cause tooth decay, gum disease, and bad breath. Originally developed by Oragenics, the product line was sold to ProBiora Health in 2016. The product is marketed as a consumer probiotic for maintaining oral hygiene and promoting a healthy balance of oral flora.
