EVX-020

EVX-020 is a sole-in-class KIF20A kinesin inhibitor developed as a next-generation antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) payload for oncology. It selectively targets the motor protein Kinesin family member 20A (KIF20A), which plays a critical role in cell division and is implicated in uncontrolled proliferation characteristic of cancer cells. By inhibiting KIF20A, EVX-020 disrupts mitosis and induces cytotoxicity in highly proliferative cancers. Preclinical studies have demonstrated potent activity against a broad range of human cancer cell lines, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML), as well as efficacy in both hematological malignancies and solid tumor models. The drug is being advanced by Evexta Bio for use as an ADC payload to combine the efficacy of chemotherapy with the safety profile of targeted therapy[1][2][3][4][5][8].
