Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EVX-B1 is a preclinical-stage protein subunit vaccine developed by Evaxion Biotech for the prevention and treatment of *Staphylococcus aureus* (*S. aureus*) infections, including skin and soft tissue infections (SSTI). The vaccine is designed using Evaxion's proprietary AI platform, EDIVAC, to identify and target specific toxins and virulence factors of the bacteria. By inducing an immune response against these critical components, EVX-B1 aims to neutralize the pathogen's ability to cause disease and evade the host immune system.
