EX106 is a preclinical bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) developed by Guangzhou Excelmab for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The molecule features a unique four-chain design and is engineered to simultaneously bind Glypican-3 (GPC3) on the surface of tumor cells and the CD3 receptor on T cells. This dual binding mechanism facilitates the recruitment and activation of cytotoxic T lymphocytes directly to GPC3-expressing cancer cells, leading to targeted tumor cell destruction. EX106 is currently undergoing CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) development in preparation for an Investigational New Drug (IND) application.
