Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ExaCAR-NK is an investigational allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor natural killer (CAR NK) cell therapy platform being developed by Exacis Biotherapeutics using induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)–derived NK cells that are engineered via non-viral mRNA-based methods to express tumor-targeted CARs and additional edits for persistence and functionality. Exacis has in-licensed mRNA and cell engineering technologies to generate off‑the‑shelf CAR NK and CAR T products, including ExaCAR-NK, which are designed to avoid genomic DNA modification, enable scalable manufacturing, and provide targeted cytotoxicity against hematologic malignancies and potentially solid tumors by combining NK cell innate killing with CAR-mediated antigen recognition.[10][12]
