Overview

Exclzyme Pet is a veterinary nutraceutical and systemic enzyme blend developed by Specialty Enzymes & Probiotics. It is formulated to support joint health, tissue repair, and muscle recovery in companion animals, particularly dogs. The supplement is composed of multiple active enzymatic ingredients, including amylase, bromelain, lipase, papain, Peptizyme SP EN (serratiopeptidase), and proteases, combined with herbal extracts such as amla and rutin. Rather than targeting cartilage substrates like traditional joint supplements, Exclzyme Pet acts on the body's normal inflammatory pathways to resolve inflammation. In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial in dogs with osteoarthritis, supplementation with Exclzyme Pet led to significant reductions in pain, lameness, and serum C-reactive protein (CRP) levels, with 92% of treated dogs showing measurable improvement.
