EXL-111

EXL-111 is a first-in-class trifunctional monoclonal antibody (biologic) developed by Excellergy Inc. for the treatment of IgE-mediated allergic diseases. It acts as an Effector Cell Response Inhibitor (ECRI) with a novel mechanism of action that distinguishes it from existing anti-IgE therapies. EXL-111 rapidly removes IgE already bound to FcεRI receptors on mast cells and basophils without triggering cell activation, neutralizes free circulating IgE with high affinity, and accelerates the downregulation of FcεRI receptor expression. This trifunctional approach is designed to provide more rapid and potent inhibition of the allergic cascade, with potential applications in food allergy, chronic spontaneous urticaria, asthma, and atopic dermatitis.
