Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ExoJoints is an exosome-based therapy developed by the Bioscience Institute for orthopedic regeneration and joint repair. It consists of cell-free extracellular vesicles (exosomes) derived from human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). These exosomes carry a concentrated cargo of bioactive molecules, including lipids, messenger RNA, cytokines, and proteins, which act as intercellular messengers to promote tissue repair and modulate local immune responses. ExoJoints is administered via precise intra-articular or peri-articular injection to treat degenerative joint diseases, such as osteoarthritis, cartilage degeneration, and tendon or ligament injuries, by stimulating chondrocyte activity, promoting cartilage regeneration, and reducing joint inflammation and pain.
