Overview

Exomide is a South Korea–developed cosmetic exosome-based skin and scalp treatment that delivers stem cell–derived extracellular vesicles (exosomes) along with growth factors, amino acids, peptides, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and glutathione to promote skin rejuvenation and hair regeneration.[1][3][7][9][15] Marketed primarily as topical or microneedling-delivered ampoules and solutions, it leverages nano-sized vesicles secreted by mesenchymal or adipose-derived stem cells to enhance cell-to-cell communication, stimulate collagen and elastin production, reduce inflammation and hyperpigmentation, and improve hair follicle activity, density, and scalp health.[1][3][5][7][9][11][19] Exomide is positioned for aesthetic indications such as wrinkles, skin barrier damage, melasma or uneven tone, and various forms of hair thinning and alopecia, and is used as an add-on to procedures like microneedling rather than as a regulated pharmaceutical drug.[3][5][7][9][11][19]
