Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Exone-A** is an oral fixed-dose triple-combination cardiovascular medicine developed by HK inno.N for patients with **hypertension and dyslipidemia**. It combines amlodipine, a dihydropyridine L-type calcium-channel blocker that promotes vasodilation; valsartan, a selective angiotensin II type 1 receptor antagonist that reduces angiotensin II-mediated vasoconstriction and aldosterone signaling; and atorvastatin, a competitive inhibitor of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A reductase that lowers hepatic cholesterol synthesis and circulating low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. Clinical studies of CJ-30061 evaluated fixed-dose formulations containing amlodipine, valsartan, and atorvastatin, including 5 mg/160 mg/20 mg and 10 mg/160 mg/40 mg strengths.
