Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ExoSCRT Exosome is a proprietary exosome-based biologic product developed by the South Korean biotechnology company ExoCoBio. The product consists of high-purity, nano-sized extracellular vesicles (30-200nm) isolated from stem cell conditioned media using a patented purification technology. These exosomes contain a complex cargo of approximately 1,000 proteins, 600 types of miRNAs, and 400 types of lipids, which facilitate intercellular communication and tissue regeneration. ExoSCRT is being developed for both regenerative aesthetics, such as skin rejuvenation and hair restoration, and therapeutic applications for inflammatory conditions including atopic dermatitis and SARS-CoV-2-related inflammation. The mechanism of action involves promoting ceramide biosynthesis to restore the skin barrier, modulating inflammatory signaling, and stimulating cellular regeneration.
