Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Exovex is an exosome-based regenerative medicine product developed by ExoCel Bio, derived from mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) of the human placental chorion layer. It is a non-lyophilized biologic containing a concentrated payload of mRNA, microRNA, peptide growth factors, and signaling cytokines. The product is designed for topical application following aesthetic procedures such as microneedling, laser resurfacing, and chemical peels to accelerate tissue recovery and enhance cosmetic outcomes. It is also utilized in the management of androgenetic alopecia and skin rejuvenation (addressing fine lines, wrinkles, and skin texture). Exovex is available in several formulations—Revive, Renew, Reveal, Restore, Refine, and Rejuv—which differ in their exosome concentration, ranging from 1 billion to 75 billion exosomes per vial.
