Expanded bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stromal cells (BM-MSCs) are an allogeneic cell therapy developed by Bespoke Biologix. These cells are harvested from healthy donor bone marrow and expanded in vitro to reach therapeutic doses. Mesenchymal stromal cells are multipotent cells known for their immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and regenerative properties. They function by secreting various cytokines, growth factors, and extracellular vesicles (paracrine signaling) that promote tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and modulate the immune system. This therapy is being explored for a wide range of conditions, including cardiovascular diseases (heart disease, heart attack), neurological disorders (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke, neuropathy), autoimmune diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis), and for anti-aging or longevity purposes.
