Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ExQor Treatment Biologic is an unnamed therapeutic protein delivery platform being developed by ExQor Technologies for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and various forms of dementia. The biologic is designed to deliver restorative therapeutic proteins directly to damaged receptors within the brain's memory circuitry. Preclinical studies have reportedly demonstrated the drug's ability to reverse neurological damage, halt neurodegenerative progression, and restore learning and memory in animal models of Alzheimer's disease, HIV-associated neurodegeneration, and methamphetamine addiction. The therapeutic is being developed under a companion diagnostic framework, intended to follow a diagnostic biologic (an MRI contrast agent) through the regulatory process. It is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development.
