Overview
Extrammune is a proprietary Ayurvedic herbal formulation developed and marketed by Charak Pharma. Available in both tablet and syrup forms, it is designed as a natural immunity enhancer to strengthen the body's defense mechanisms and build resistance against infections. The formulation contains a blend of traditional immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant herbs, including Guduchi (*Tinospora cordifolia*), Haridra (*Curcuma longa*), Manjishta (*Rubia cordifolia*), Triphala Guggul, Chitrak (*Plumbago zeylanica*), and Trikatu. Extrammune is used prophylactically to prevent seasonal infections like influenza, or therapeutically as an adjuvant alongside antibiotic therapy for respiratory tract, skin, and soft tissue infections.
