Eyestil Plus

Eyestil Plus is a preservative-free ophthalmic solution developed by SIFI for the management of moderate-to-severe dry eye syndrome. It is a combination product containing 0.4% sodium hyaluronate and 0.5% taurine. Sodium hyaluronate, a high-molecular-weight glycosaminoglycan, provides viscoelastic and mucoadhesive properties that stabilize the tear film and lubricate the ocular surface. Taurine acts as an osmoprotectant, helping corneal epithelial cells maintain volume and integrity under hyperosmotic conditions typical of dry eye, and provides antioxidant protection against oxidative stress. The formulation is designed to provide long-lasting relief from symptoms such as burning and foreign body sensation while promoting the repair of the corneal epithelium.
