Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ezerra Liquid Powder is a topical dermatological formulation designed to manage skin conditions such as intertrigo by acting as an adsorbent and moisture-absorbing agent. It features a unique liquid-to-powder consistency that reduces friction and inflammation in skin folds. The formulation is talc-free and fragrance-free, containing a blend of botanical ingredients including tapioca starch for moisture absorption, Stimutex AS (a mixture of spent grain wax, shea butter extract, and argan oil) for skin relief, as well as aloe vera, rosehip oil, and allantoin to soothe and protect sensitive skin. Developed by HOE Pharmaceuticals in collaboration with Taisho-HOE Pharmaceuticals, it has been evaluated in Phase 4 clinical trials by Mahidol University as a non-steroidal alternative to 1% hydrocortisone cream for mild to moderate intertrigo.
