Drug intelligence / Profile preview
F-899 is an innovative long-acting recombinant fusion protein consisting of human growth hormone (hGH) fused to the fragment crystallizable (Fc) region of an antibody. Developed by Evive Biotech using its proprietary DiKine™ bimolecular structure platform, F-899 is expressed in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. It is designed as a therapeutic treatment for growth hormone deficiency (GHD) in children and wasting diseases. By fusing the growth hormone to an Fc domain, the drug achieves prolonged systemic exposure and a significantly extended half-life compared to native growth hormone, acting as a growth hormone receptor agonist with a reduced dosing frequency requirement.
