Drug intelligence / Profile preview
F12-MMAE is a preclinical **antibody-drug conjugate** composed of the fully human anti-prostate stem cell antigen antibody F12, formatted as an IgG1, conjugated to the tubulin inhibitor monomethyl auristatin E. It was described in academic research as a highly specific PSCA-targeting ADC for prostate cancer, with the F12 antibody reported to bind PSCA amino acids 63-69, internalize efficiently into PSCA-expressing tumor cells, and cross-react with murine PSCA. In a human PC-3-PSCA xenograft NSG mouse model, F12-MMAE showed dose-dependent and antigen-specific antitumor activity, supporting its development as a targeted antineoplastic candidate for prostate cancer and potentially other PSCA-expressing solid tumors.
