Overview
A combination cancer immunotherapy approach consisting of T cells genetically engineered to express the F5 T cell receptor (which recognizes MART-1 antigen) and autologous dendritic cells pulsed with MART-1 peptide. The MART-1 peptide-pulsed dendritic cells serve as antigen-presenting cells that can activate and enhance the anti-tumor activity of the F5 TCR transgenic T cells. This approach is designed to generate potent immune responses against melanoma cells expressing the MART-1/Melan-A antigen, which is present in over 90% of melanomas.
