Overview

F61 is a recombinant human monoclonal antibody developed by Wuhan Institute of Biological Products as an inhibitor of the SARS-CoV-2 spike (S) protein, targeting the coronavirus responsible for COVID-19. It has been evaluated in clinical trials for its efficacy in preventing and treating COVID-19, with studies showing significant efficacy in multiple-dose cohorts. The drug is administered as an injection or nasal spray. Its primary mechanism of action is inhibition of the SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein, thereby blocking viral entry into host cells.
