F77 CAR2 is an autologous second-generation **CAR-T cell therapy** developed in preclinical research at the University of Pennsylvania for **prostate cancer**. The construct uses an scFv derived from the F77-specific mouse monoclonal antibody to recognize the **F77 carbohydrate antigen**, a glycan epitope reported on both androgen-dependent and androgen-independent prostate cancer cells, and couples this recognition domain to CD28 costimulatory signaling and CD3 zeta activation domains. In published xenograft studies using PC3 prostate cancer models, F77-specific CAR-T cells produced cytokines, mediated F77-dependent tumor-cell killing, and eradicated tumors, supporting F77 CAR2 as an early-stage experimental solid-tumor cell therapy candidate.
