Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FACT-022 is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by Factor Bioscience for the treatment of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). The therapy utilizes T cells engineered to express a chimeric receptor that specifically targets CD22, a surface protein predominantly expressed on B-lineage cells and frequently retained in B-cell malignancies. This approach aims to provide a targeted cytotoxic response against leukemic cells, potentially offering a therapeutic option for patients, including those who may have relapsed after CD19-directed therapies. FACT-022 is currently in the discovery and preclinical development phase within Factor Bioscience's internal cell therapy pipeline.
