Overview

FamiLact is a synbiotic mouthwash that has been investigated for its efficacy in preventing and treating radiotherapy-induced oral mucositis in oral cancer patients. Clinical trial data indicated that FamiLact significantly reduced the severity and incidence of severe oral mucositis when compared to a normal saline mouthwash. Its therapeutic action is attributed to its synbiotic nature, which involves the modulation of the oral microbiome.
