Faringomed is an over-the-counter (OTC) complex homeopathic medication developed and manufactured by Materia Medica Lifesciences. It is formulated as lozenges (tablets for dissolution in the mouth) and is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the pharynx, such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and laryngitis, in adults and children over 5 or 6 years of age. The preparation contains ultra-low doses of active homeopathic components, including *Phytolacca americana* (Phytolacca) C24, *Atropa belladonna* (Belladonna) C30, Hepar sulfuris C12, and *Acidum silicicum* (Silicea) C12. Faringomed exerts analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, helping to reduce swelling, redness, throat irritation, and pain, while also facilitating nasal breathing and lowering the risk of ENT complications.
