Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Fat-soluble vitamins for injection (II)** is an approved combination drug containing four essential fat-soluble vitamins: Vitamin A (retinol palmitate), Vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol), Vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol), and Vitamin K1 (phytomenadione). Developed and manufactured by ShanXi PuDe Pharmaceutical and other Chinese pharmaceutical companies, it is indicated as a nutritional supplement for patients receiving parenteral nutrition to prevent or treat fat-soluble vitamin deficiencies. The formulation is administered intravenously, typically reconstituted and added to intravenous infusions such as glucose or saline solutions, to meet the daily physiological requirements of these vitamins in adult and pediatric patients who cannot tolerate oral intake.
