favezelimab

Favezelimab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets lymphocyte activation gene-3 (LAG-3), an immune checkpoint receptor expressed on activated T cells. By binding to LAG-3, favezelimab blocks its interaction with MHC class II molecules, thereby enhancing T-cell activation and promoting antitumor immune responses. Favezelimab has been investigated both as monotherapy and in combination with pembrolizumab (an anti–PD-1 antibody) for the treatment of various cancers, including relapsed/refractory classical Hodgkin lymphoma (R/R cHL) and microsatellite stable metastatic colorectal cancer. The drug is developed by Merck.
