Overview

This is an experimental **combination therapy** of favezelimab (an anti–lymphocyte activation gene-3 monoclonal antibody), pembrolizumab (a programmed death-1 receptor [PD-1] inhibitor), and lenvatinib (a multi-tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting vascular endothelial growth factor receptors, among others). The combination is being evaluated for advanced and metastatic solid tumors, including endometrial cancer, cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, and potentially several other tumor types. The rationale for the combination lies in dual checkpoint inhibition (LAG-3 and PD-1) to further augment T-cell mediated anti-tumor immunity, combined with the antiangiogenic and immunomodulatory effects of lenvatinib, which may improve immune cell infiltration and efficacy[1][5][7][8].
