Overview

FavId is an investigational therapeutic cancer vaccine developed for the treatment of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It is a patient-specific, active immunotherapy designed to stimulate the immune system to recognize and attack malignant B cells by targeting the idiotype protein expressed on their surface. The vaccine consists of recombinant idiotype protein derived from each patient's tumor, combined with an adjuvant (GM-CSF) to enhance immune response. Its mechanism of action involves inducing a targeted immune response against lymphoma cells bearing the unique idiotype antigen.
