Fawound Plus

Fawound Plus is an oral fixed-dose combination medication developed and marketed by the Indian pharmaceutical company Prisure Medicare. It is formulated as a tablet containing four active ingredients: the proteolytic enzymes trypsin (48mg) and bromelain (90mg), the flavonoid rutoside (100mg), and the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) diclofenac (50mg). Trypsin and bromelain work synergistically to break down inflammatory proteins and improve blood supply to the site of injury, thereby resolving edema and promoting tissue repair. Rutoside acts as an antioxidant to neutralize cell-damaging free radicals and strengthen blood vessel walls to prevent further swelling. Diclofenac provides potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzymes and blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins. The product is primarily indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, as well as for post-surgical recovery and general pain relief.
