Faxeladol (also known by code names such as GRTA9906 and others) is an opioid analgesic that acts as a μ-opioid receptor agonist and inhibits the reuptake of noradrenaline and serotonin. It was developed for the treatment of fibromyalgia and neuropathic pain. Faxeladol was studied in clinical trials but its development has been discontinued[1][2][3]. The drug is a small molecule administered orally.
